29th Annual Holiday Festival Of Lights In James Island

Christmas lights out of focus. With around two million twinkling lights on display, it’s no wonder that the Annual Holiday Festival of Lights is the most popular holiday celebration in Charleston. Bringing in more than four million people since it’s inception, the three-mile long driving tour has won multiple awards and media mentions over the past 29 years.

In addition to the dazzling light displays, enjoy a variety of activities like marshmallow roasting, an enchanted walking trail, Santa’s Sweet Shoppe, and four gift shops. Major attractions include an 18-animal carousel, a life-size greeting card, and visits with Santa.

Drayton Hall Holiday Sip & Shop

The vendors in attendance will include Grey Ghost Bakery, Oliver Pluff Teas, author Amey Lewis, and more. Enjoy live holiday music from local musician Chris Dodson as you browse through the local wares!

City Of Charleston Holiday Parade

A nutcracker marching band. Bundle up and hit the streets for the annual Charleston Holiday Parade! Festive floats, lively marching bands, and vehicles decked out for the holidays will grace the parade route at this favorite local holiday event.
For many residents, the annual parade marks the true beginning of the holiday season. The streets are sure to be full of holly jolly celebrators. Make sure you arrive a little early to get a good spot!

37th Annual Holiday Parade Of Boats

Fireworks over a waterfront. Although boats may not be the first thing you think of when celebrating the holidays, the Annual Holiday Parade of Boats is a Charleston staple! Each boat will be decorated in twinkling lights and holiday decorations. Onlookers can watch the procession from anywhere along the waterfront.
For an even better view of the event, you can purchase tickets to the Holiday Parade of Boats Viewing Party. In addition to a front-row seat, tickets also cover a barbecue meal, live entertainment, and access to a cash bar.

Cigar Factory’s Cigar Bazaar Holiday Market
